Tracy's Kenpo is a complete system of self defense that includes both physical and spiritual benefits. Classes involve meditation, physical development, empty hand techniques, kata practice and weapons. A typical class would include the following:
1. Stretching and strength training;
2. Kata practice;
3. Self defense techniques;
4. Weapons training;
Our Kenpo training is very traditional. Specific techniques and katas (forms) are taught. The memorization of techniques and katas act as a way to increase mental clarity and increase calmness. Students start at white belt and if they work diligently enough, they can achieve their goal of Black Belt. We encourage students to try a class for free to see if Tracy's Kenpo training is for them.
